Maintaining Your Phone Call Records

Save and share your phone records

Say goodbye to scattered post-it notes and duplicated effort. Roadwurx makes it effortless for highway departments to log and share phone call records. Instead of scribbling down call details and having to rewrite them for a foreman or superintendent, anyone who takes the call can enter the information directly into Roadwurx. The call log is instantly accessible to anyone with access, so your team stays informed and nothing slips through the cracks. And when you need a paper copy, just hit the "Print" button to generate a clean, professional call report. No more chasing down semi-legible handwritten notes.

Unresolved call log

Unresolved Issues

With Roadwurx, keeping track of open issues is a breeze thanks to the Unresolved Call Log. Every call record is stored permanently, but you can easily mark whether the issue reported has been resolved or still needs attention. This gives your department a clear, up-to-date list of all unresolved calls, which is perfect for prioritizing maintenance and ensuring nothing gets overlooked. Once the issue has been addressed, simply check the “resolved” box and the call record will automatically drop off the active list while still being safely archived for future reference. It’s an easy, efficient way to stay on top of your public service commitments.

Create Work Orders from your Phone Calls

Phone call to work order form

Roadwurx takes the hassle out of creating work orders by letting you transfer call details with a single click. When a call comes in, just log the information once, and when you're ready to assign the job, hit the "Create Work Order" button. The location and task or issue details are automatically carried over into the work order form, saving you time and eliminating the need to retype anything. Of course, you can still add or edit information as needed, but the hard part is already done. It’s a fast, accurate way to turn public requests into actionable tasks.

Another point: your phone call records are mated to your roads. When viewing a road's detail page, you can click the Call History button (seen below) to see all calls you have recieved about issues on the road. This allows you to easily track ongoing issues, as well as ascertain which roads are the most problematic.
