Maintaining Your Road Data

Roads are your primary asset, and the most expensive, so Roadwurx allows you to store a wide array of information about every road in your municipality, including paving history, pavement condition, length, width, speed limit, as well as pertinent legal data such acceptance date, resolution, and asset number.

Having this information at your fingertips makes life in your highway department so much easier, especially when you're answering residents' questions on the phone or responding to queries from local politicians.

Entering and storing all of the data you are expected to maintain would be pointless if it wasn't easy to access and work with. At the bottom of each road's page, you'll find a handy toolbar that will allow you to add its paving history, drainage locations, signs, and upload images associated with the road, such as photos of repairs and ongoing concerns. You can all click the "Call History" button to see any calls you have received concering that road.

Searching Your Roads

We make it easy to find the road you're seeking in a flash with our search function. Make a single click to the Road Search page and begin typing the road's name. It will begin making suggestions the moment you type the first letter. If you are unsure exactly how to spell a road's name (it happens), type the letters you do know and Roadwurx will make suggestions.

Once you see the name of the road pop up, simply click it and you'll be taken to its detail page - where you'll find all of the information you have stored about that road.

Listing Your Road Inventory

You can also view your complete road inventory in a sortable paginageted list. A sortable list is especially helpful if you have been asked to produce your inventory in alphabetical order, or if you want to sort them by paving history date. From this listing, you'll find buttons allowing you to view or edit an individual road's data.

Roadwurx also offers export options so you can easily share or print a listing of your road inventory. PDF, CSV, and Excel file formats are currently available.
